The result - the Celesta mattresses from Comfortaire, the next generation of specialty sleep air mattress. The Celesta series air beds offer the most innovative and advanced sleeping surface avaialable, including a patented new rubber alloy air containment system, edge to edge support, and Comfortaire's proprietary and world renowned air control system.

The folks at Comfortaire discovered that they could create the ultimate air bed sleep surface by bringing the air chamber to the surface of the mattress. The secret is to use a special low profile air core that goes from edge to edge to edge to edge (4 sides to a mattress), which lets the sleeper (you) sleep right to the edge of the mattress and still get all the benefits of sleeping on air. In fact, because you are so close to the air chamber itself, you may find that you benefit even more. The Celesta comes in two versions, Celesta and Celesta Premium. The mattresses are exactly the same. The difference is in the inflator. The regualr Celesta uses the IFC pump (no digital read-out), while the premium Celesta uses the Whisper Flo pump (digital read-out).

Special air chanber information! - All cells inside the air chambers of Comfortaire air beds are stitched both ways for more even support and all seaming is internal. Comfortaire air chambers use I-beam construction and are built from vulcanized (heat sealed) rubber. You can not over inflate the chambers as the air back flows when the chambers fill to their maximum capacity. All pumps include an external fifteen minute burnout fuse which can be easily replaced.
